During our meeting yesterday Anat mentioned how the people we will be working with from the E Science lab will not have Microsoft Access available to them. This unfortunately means that we need to be able to give all of the data we're using to them in an Excel format. To do this, I had to undertake the task of exporting our huge Access database into separate Excel spreadsheets and copy and pasting them all back together again. Access only allows you to export chunks of about 65535 rows out at once, so I had to make many different Excel sheets, but in the end they are now all in one enormous Excel spreadsheet. I also uploaded it to the Google Drive folder we have so it will be easy to share it with them on Tuesday. I'm excited to start working with them next week!
